- What is Therilly?
- Therilly is a Swedish AI service that controls your heat pump based on the electricity spot price (set per 15 minutes since October 2025), weather forecasts from SMHI and your home’s own thermal inertia. Typical result: 15–30 % lower electricity cost for heating, without any drop in indoor comfort. Built and operated by FM Vision AB.
- How much does Therilly save?
- Typically 15 to 30 percent of the heating electricity bill, depending on price zone, insulation and heat pump model. An average SE3 villa with 18,000 kWh of heating use saves around 4,000–7,000 SEK per year.
- Which heat pumps work with Therilly?
- Today you can connect Qvantum (direct), NIBE (via myUplink), Mitsubishi Electric (via MELCloud) and Daikin (via ONECTA). Support for Viessmann, CTC, IVT, Thermia, Bosch, Vaillant and others is in development. On Tibber? You can also connect your account in the web app and see your household consumption and electricity price there. Power meters such as Shelly and HomeWizard come later, as do connections via Homey and Home Assistant.
- What does Therilly cost?
- Therilly has a free tier where you can view live data from your pump. The Pro plan is 89 SEK/month and adds AI control, weather forecast and a thermal model of your home. Pro+ for multiple pumps, properties or BRFs is SEK 89 for the first pump + SEK 69 per extra pump — from SEK 158/month for two pumps.
- Do I need to replace my heat pump to use Therilly?
- No. Therilly can control the heat pump you already have, if it is a brand we support and is connected to the manufacturer’s app, such as myUplink, MELCloud or ONECTA. For brands other than Qvantum, our support team sets up the control, usually within 1–3 days, before you can switch on the AI.
- Do I need a particular electricity contract?
- Yes, a contract that follows the spot price. Since 1 October 2025 the spot price is set per 15 minutes, and Therilly shifts heating to the cheapest hours of the day. With a fixed price or a monthly average price, the saving doesn’t show on your bill. Tibber, Greenely, Cheap Energy and others offer contracts that follow the spot price in Sweden.
